2018 US box office sets new record in its history

2018 American box office has set a new record in revenues.

According to a media report, the total gross of this year has excelled 2017 by a 7 percent increase at the North American box office.

Grossing 41.7 Billion Dollars is considered to be the highest amount of revenues in the whole American cinema history.

In the past years box office was more successful outside the borders of Northern America, but this year the statistics prove things to be quite the opposite.

27 percent of the whole amount of proceeds has been gained by the Walt Disney Company alone. It is the second time in history that one company single handedly grosses this highly. The Disney Company has done it both times.

Highest selling movies have been ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Black Panther’, both of which have been produced by Walt Disney. Next on the list is ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ by Universal, ‘Incredible 2’ by Disney/Pixar and finally ‘Venom’ by Sony.
